After the snatchy/surging 990 (below 4k rpm :rob)

The 950 is so much smoother to ride. :bow

I think this could be my perfect bike :D

I have recently got back from a 2500+ mile trip to Gotland in Sweden on my SE. After have a few GS's and an Xchallenge, I got rid of both for the SE hoping to find a compromise of both types of bike, a long distance off road machine......... the KTM did not disappoint:D

The Safari tank gave me a range of 250+ miles without seeing the reserve light come on and the small screen does just enough to enable motorway cruising up to around 80mph (above that the wind force gets tiring). When we got to Gotland we did some great tracks and again the SE was very good, it felt just a nimble as the Xch, although with such a powerful engine low speed is not so much fun. On the gravel tracks I push it in the corners forcing it to lose grip both front and rear and found it very easy to manage.

Overall, I think I found the perfect compromise :thumb2
