I’ve had loads of scoots over the years.
Too young for the Vespa / lambretta thing. So all autos.
I was driving through Huddersfield in 2000 and in the window of Lockwood rd motorcycles there was a tuned, year old Italjet dragster.
I’d just recently seen “Sonic” (John Cantlie - be headed by ISIS) test one in superbike magazine so thought it would compliment my new ZX9R well.
While it didn’t handle that great, there was something fun / amusing about autos. And having the malossi kit and pm tuning pipe etc it went well enough.
Many followed. 2 stroke Dragster’s and Runners all tuned by Andy at PSN tuning in Batley.
They onto the maxi scoots, but I’ve never commuted except for the odd day here and there. So all my bikes are pleasure only.
As the enlightened know, the Tmax for many years has been the best scoot if you’re looking for an all round machine.
Here’s a young lady admiring my old B500 (want to say around 2006) at the ace cafe. Decent engine but scoot not great tbh.
