Then went all Moto Guzzi T3... before selling her to a splendid tosser

Then decided to buy this R100RT in company with a now FTA partner...

Very addictive machines, that's for sure

It's not always been plain sailing though.

Had to rebuild the engine - crank up - last summer. This is what I found in the crank slingers - the remains of the back crankshaft bearing cage:



Needed to get the whole thing apart:

I'm uploading the pics I just took of the one we're building here in the shed now, but (and please excuse the slight temporary OT here) we were seriously looking at this today, as a donor cage for a possible off-road tub, plus loads of suspension parts that might be useful

Out in North Wales today when I stopped for the proverbal flask and butties pit stop ( nice to have a boot ) .....middle of knowhere and a guy comes over to take my photo Asked him to take one of me...and he 'hits the deck' to get the "right angle"
