Has anyone put autocom ear phones into a scuberth concept helmet? Did you have to grub out some polystyrene padding. Mine is well tight on the ears. Were you able to get behind the lining, mine seems to be well glued down ( apart from the clipdown crown part). Does the boom mic need fixing or does it stay put just jammed in. What is the speed of a swallow.

African or European?
;)

I put my autocom speakers in my concept......wasn't ever happy though to be honest....the holes in the foam aren't in the right places and mine always hurt after more than an hour or three......to move them to the correct place for me wouold have meant cutting out rather more polystyrene than I was comfortable doing.....

I bought a Tour-x and a set of custom moulded plug speakers though so I didn't have to do it in the end.

If you get a chance, have a word with a friendly bike plod...a lot of them use the concept and they have speakers in theirs....might be worth taking a look to se how they've done theirs.

Not much help I know.:(

I had exactly the same problem. Send Autocomm an e-mail, they have been extremely helpful to me, and sent me excellent instructions (they even offered to do it for me).

Do remove the thin foam padding from under the helmet lining, as otherwise the speakers press onto your ears quite hard. Or at least, they do if, like me, you resemble the FA Cup when viewed from behind ...

TRY AUTOCOM

I had a similar problem with uncomfortable speakers in my helmet(ooh matron !).Living near to Autocom`s offices in Leamington i popped in a couple of times and they very helpfully adjusted them until they fitted perfectly. They too said the recesses were in the wrong place - funny shaped ears these Germans.

The speakers actually fit inside the Tour-X easily - there's a recess just right for them :thumb
