Hi all,
as a lot of you know by now me and a mate from the uk are doing a trip back from Magadan to Dublin Via Mongolia and possibly Kazakstan.

I would like to use the trip to raise a few bob for a very worthy charity The Laura Lynn House. This is the only hospice for children in Ireland, I met Jane McKenna a couple of years ago who started the charity after losing both her children to unrelated diseases and raised €15 million to get it started as there was no hospice for her children.

Sorry guys and girls forgot to mention the trip its self is totaly self funded and any money raised goes directly to the childrens hospice!

Only 9 more sleeps before we fly to Magadan to pick our bikes up which are in Vladivostok now waiting for colection tomorrow by transport co.

All the best on your adventures. Unfortunately a member of our diving club has had to make use of the hospice for his little girl Victoria who has just passed away last week. Good cause.

Thank you Damien, will have to get busy with a blog of sorts! Dont think we'll make a beer this week but definitely as soon as we get back.

Update

Bikes are due in Magadan on the 23rd of July (6 and a half weeks after we dropped them off in St Petersburg) same day as us but could take 2 days to unload from the ship, we may be a day late leaving but not the end of the world! Mark and I leave Dublin this Saturday night at 11pm land in Moscow 6am local time Sunday and have 12 hour wait until our onward flight to Magadan, further 8 hours and arrive Monday lunch time.

All seams to be coming together!
