Side Pannier mounting rail Adv.

Just bought a 2010 Adv and would like to add side panniers but the rack for them is not there so need to pick them up from somewhere, they £300 new from dealer and was hoping to get them a little cheaper elsewhere but fleabay throws nothing up, any scrappys around for the GS?

any ideas why they'd have been removed in the first place as I think ALL adventures come with these standard dont they?

Hi Nick,

No, pannier racks are not standard, they are optional extras.

Also, it's best to decide who's panniers you want before adding racks - it's not a case of one size fits all. The BMW (made by Touratech) boxes are good, but there are MANY other options out there for less money.

free panniers yes,but not the rails

damn it, lost the buy on the panniers now as well

now need frames and panniers, bike was not bought new btw.

anyone got some for sale
