Its not a brass tube, its two top hats ,How do I remove the brass bush in the frame asView attachment 272203 its worn out,
Looked on Utube nowt seen.
Do I put a hacksaw through it and split it ..hit it out with a socket..
Or your answer please..
See above, if i recall the bush is held in by the side stand , U type arrangement once the tops hats are out the bush generally falls outAccording to the parts fiche, it is two collared bushes, part number 46537679105.
They are pushed in from each side. You should see there is a slight gap between them, halfway down the hole. "Tap" them out using a suitable drift and "tapper" ( big hammer). Easier to tap the inner one out first, driving it to the centre of the bike. That gives more opportunity for driving it out whilst working from the wrong side.
If you have a slide hammer bearing puller sitting in a box, now would be a good time to dig it out![]()
I removed the sidestand, and looked into the hole, removed the two top hats, worn out.but they were touching.but can see no Bush...Its not a brass tube, its two top hats ,
once the hats are off/ out the stand can be pulled off and the bush can be pushed / fall out
And TBH unless is absolouty fecked, you wont see much difference .
The bush goes inside the "top hats" the bolt passes through the bush and clamps it agaibst the inside of the fork cut in the side stand. It may be corroded to your side stand bolt , making it look like one assembly?I removed the sidestand, and looked into the hole, removed the two top hats, worn out.but they were touching.but can see no Bush...
Real oem says there's one in there but where does it go as the two top hats were touching.....
Most confused....

That diagram definitely isn't the right one for his bike.

Must be a change of design for the late twin cams then because both my 2010s have the same bolt setup as yours. After putting in my vin number in real oem again, this is what it shows..so the side stand has been changed from another bike too mine..as part no 2 is bolt with a shoulder head on it allowing the sidestand lugs too be tightened up.as mine at the moment is a straight through bolt.
