Here's a curious one on a well maintained 2004 1150 gsa...
...the bike starts fine in neutral from cold with the side stand down but most of the time if I then kick the side stand up it will cut the engine even in neutral.
However if I do the same thing when the bike has warmed up a bit, it doesn't happen and operates as intended.
I appreciate this is not really a problem in the grand scheme of things but just interested if this has happened to anyone else and what they did to fix it.
