Side Stand Extender Dilema

I have just traded in my 19 GSA for a 23 GS
My Touratech side stand extender is too big for the new sidestand.
The dimensions of the side stand foot are 68mm long, 38mm wide at the wide end and 32mm wide at the narrow end.
I've trawled and trawled through the usual sources to no avail. The only one i can find is another Touratech product with the accompanying price tag.
Anyone resolved this with a a cheaper product?
 
What he said. Ali Express is where I got mine from 2 years ago and its in great condition too. Is a quality part, believe it or not.

Ali Express would be the 'go to' source, however their suppliers seem to cater for 4 different sizes and the same/similar diagram appears to be used by most of the suppliers. Despite searching, the sizing of the 23 stand is not one of the options.
 
I have the same problem on my 1200 lc rally, measured the bottom of the side stand matched it up with the measurements on ebay but unfortunately it didn't fit .
Tried cutting some off the back but it was still hitting the frame when the stand was retracted so ended up not fitting it.
In the past I've never had a problem buying cheap side stand extenders for various bike's.

I have one from LoneRider which is a good fit. According to their site it should cover your 2023 Bike too.

These are the general offerings via Ali Express etc. My 23 model is 68mm long, 38mm across the and underneath the support and 32mm across the end furthest from the bike so is somewhat smaller than the 4 offerings.

Is there a reason why GS owners buy expensive bits of metal to bolt onto the side stand instead of using a puck which used to be given away free on the cover of motorcycle magazines? Or made equally cheaply by crushing a can?

And you can drill a hole in it, and attach a curly yellow stretch lanyard with a tie-wrap, so you can pick it up when you lift the bike off the side stand without bending over.

If you want to carry one everywhere with you, sure, you could use it.

Alternatively, i can put my side stand down and not have to worry about trying to line up a plastic puck on the soft, loose surface on which i've parked.

I don’t take mine with me - I leave it under the bike’s side stand…:nenau

Quality looks fine, torx bolts, cup like washers, foam pad in centre, even a tork key.......will get round to fitting later today

That is an outstanding saving!! they look identical (and wouldn't surprise me if made in the same factory)
 
Fitted on....all good
The cup washers are solid bottomed
The foot of the side stand is a very good fit
Cirlce of foam inside to make solid
Impressed up to now
Will thread lock each screw and properly tighten when on the sidestand

Thanks HGS for posting, I have followed what you have done and have ordered the same one from allie express, hope it fit's when it arrives. :)
