Having recently fitted a Wilbers rear shock which was 10mm longer than the standard shock to my 1100, I have noticed the lean angle of the bike when on the side stand is considerable and I;m concerned that it could topple over if I'm not careful.

I have tried fitting a side stand extender purchased from Nippy Normans but this catches on the main stand and, as such, won't raise the side stand fully. If I put the side stand up first then the centre stand won't raise up fully as it catches on the extender.

Would it be possible to fit an adventurer side stand and/or centre stand to overcome this problem. Are the side and centre stand fittings the same on both 1100 and 1150 adv?

Why not screw a hockey puck to the bottom of your stand ;)

It's a well used remedy for 'GS lean'

I can recommend the hockey puck ,i have just fitted one on mine. Perfect remedy all for £2.99.
You can fit it in 10 mins, wont foul on anything.:thumb2
If you want i can send you a pic.

do a search on here there are lots of threads put in ice hockey puck or side stand

personally I'd go for an ice hockey puck which I put on my 1200 with a little care when fitting it will not foul either main stand or exhaust:thumb
