Side stand on lowered gs

I have fitted a hyper pro kit to my 12 f800 gs trophy 50mm drop but I find that the side stand is to long and the bike is nearly straight up and at tomes it is possible to get the stand down if the fall of the road is towards the bike

Any ideas or is it possible to get a lower side stand

I'd look for an F650 GS / F700 GS sidestand.

Hi I fitted the same kit to my 2012 F800Gs and found same problem, picked up second hand side stand for the F800Gs from breakers £20 and ground off stand footplate. Removed 1" from stand tube length and welded stand footplate back on, a coat of hammerite and the jobs a good one. This mod removed the near vertical stance of the lowered GS, I hope this helps.
