Sidecar & Para 100 GS is it possible ?

Advice sought !
A mate of mine has just bought a X ural sidecar and chassis of flea bay , is it possible to fit it to a 88 100 gs and if so is there a lot involved to do it ?
He his a real handy lad mechanics / welding no problem , I said I thought it wasn't straight forward .

Yeah it's straight forward but I'd do a proff and recommend a Mono shock or twin shock

a Chair puts a lot of strain on the Swingarm and a mono is steel

The Para just has 2 wee bearings to take the strain at the rear

There were a few mentions in days gone by of K100's etc cracking thier swingarm

Otherwise Mucho fun to be had

There's plenty of info out there Leading links forks are expensive but Soooooooooo Worth it and getting smaller wheels and slamming her to the deck makes life much more pleasant !

Google the hadingham GS trail sidecar. Im sure they use standard rear ends and have no problems. ive met a couple of people who have been all over south america 2 up with loads of luggage and had soooo much fun and very few problems. id copy what they ve done

Tis true..I briefly owned this beauty...but couldn't enjoy it whilst I still rode 'normal' bikes. Maybe in the future
