I wrote a letter to BMW UK, moaning about only receiving one key, even though it stated that one should receive two in the hand book. I received a nice letter back, by almost return of post, informing me that if I presented my letter, I would receive an additional key free of charge, which I did. My dealer could claim this as a warranty item from BMW UK.
Apparently BMW UK sent out a memo to all dealers informing them of this fact!

Ocean BMW the mutts nutts
Well, when I was purchasing my shiny new GS, the kindly chaps at Ocean informed me that I would get the second key under warranty. No worries
They also threw in a set of panniers!
