Hi All,

1. Is the single spark or twin spark better?

2. Does anybody have a twin spark and still find that they have fitted a techlusion 259 after having a after market exhaust?

Cheers

Think you'll find that the Techlusion is meant for something completely other than the number of spark plugs used.

I've got a twinspark but am still undecided on whether to fit the R259. The second spark won't help with the lean running that an aftermarket pipe supposedly causes.

Could be wrong and no doubt someone will correct me if so!!

p.s. I've got a Remus Revolution and "Y" piece fitted.

Just thinking that today

Was wondering whether anyone on here had use a Tech with Twin spark...

Richard, what are the symtoms of yours running lean? Mine seems ok apart from cold.....

I've fitted a Techlusion R259 to my twin spark, which also has the Remus Y piece, carbon race can and K & N filter. I found that it does smooth it out a touch but not sure that it is really needed.

I've got an '03 twin spark with Y piece, genesis race can, K&N and a Techlusion 1030. Had it dynoed it was running lean, not any more!

Dyno cost

What is the cost of a Dyno these days?

Sounds like fun but expensive?

Can't seem to find any problem with it at all!!

Dealer did suggest that they'd had a couple of bikes in for repair that had fitted the Techlusion and recommended that I don't fit it at the moment. They also said however, that as of yet no-one with a Remus set up and a twin spark engine had it fitted long enough for them to ascertain whether there was any damge being done (the end can and Y piece that is.)

I guess I'll just wait and see.......
