My comments here actually concern my DR-Z (my everyday commuting bike) but probably apply to all bikes.
When the OE front pads wore out, I replaced them with a set of EBC sintered pads. Frankly, I was not massively impressed, but decided to live with them. They have now worn out and, 2 or 3 weeks ago, I replaced them with new EBC pads. Owing to a purchasing error, I ended up with two sets of EBC pads, one set sintered and the other 'organic'.
I fitted the organic set to replace the worn sintered items.
Numerous 30 mile round trip London commutes and the pads are properly bedded in. I was coming to realise that actually they weren't as good as the sintered (and that the sintered pads must have taken a long while to bed in when they were new).
But today it rained for the first time since I fitted organic brakes. I use the term 'brakes' in a very loose sense. These organic pads are absolute shite in the wet! Sintered pads will be going back in as soon as I can fit them!
Anyone had similar experience?
Greg
