Size L = ? Rukka

Hopefully this is not a silly question... I'm a size Large in all motorcycle jackets I've ever tried. What size would I need to order if I want a Rukka jacket? I want to order one from fc-moto.de but a little worried about the sizes.

I've looked at the size guides on the internet and think I need either a 52 or 54. Unfortunately there's no where local I can go to try some on to get an idea of fit. I tried some Klim jackets on a couple of weeks ago and the "L" was a perfect fit. Anyone take a Large jacket know the equivalent Rukka size?

I am an L in Klim and took a 54 in a rukka jacket.

FC Moto do very good exchanges.

To some degree or another it depends on the style / cut / model of Rukka jacket you are seeking to buy..... And not least the shape of YOUR body, not anyone else's. I have three Rukka jackets, anywhere between 56 and 54 but they all fit me.

If I were you, go for the larger size, not least as a slightly oversized piece of clothing is definitely better than one that is undersized. If it really is too big, send it back and get an exchange. Easy.


PS There is a thread where a bod sought help on sizing Rukka gloves, based on much the same question as you asked and no doubt similar replies. Of course they didn't fit HIM when they landed on his mat.... And those that said they would? They'd vanished.

I'm a size L in jumpers, shirts jackets etc and I have found Rukka size 54 to fit me comfortably. I'm 6' and 13 stone.
