anyone fancy a trip to Skye area for a four day trip......plan to leave either Wed evening 5/11/14 or Thurs am 6/11/14....to be back in Yorkshire by Sunday evening 9/11/14,,,,,

would love a trip back up there (been 4 times this year before july) and will be going later on but my bike is still on it's way back to blighty in a container and i wont get my hands on it until about the 15th. 16th. if you do go have a good trip

mmmm....waterproofs ready.. let me know if you go later and i will tag on if ok....good to go with someone with knowledge of area.. ive been all over europe but never right ooop north..
If you've not been to Scotland before you are in for a treat. Dont know what the snow situation is up there but you could try to get into Applecross. go in over the pass then out on the coast road. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bealach_na_Bà it's a great run.

Tony I have just booked a week's leave in February next year, w/c 23rd. I'm thinking of doing a Mon-Fri trip somewhere. I fancy Alba or The Free State but this would be very much weather dependant. Shall I keep you posted?

I did the same trip a couple of months ago with a friend on GS1200, could be a bit cold now and the days are getting shorter.
