Might be worth trying the bunkhouse at the Sligachan hotel if you're stuck. Long shot on a bank holiday weekend but there's a campsite just over the road and the beers good.

cheers guys, got sorted in saucy marysin Kyle eakin. Place and food was dead on, and a class wee blues band too.
Weekend a tad spoilt as my bike and I parted company on the coast road out of applecross. The sturdy oul thing landed upside down in a field but started first time. I, with as it turned out, 3 cracked ribs and foot, rode to troon to get the ferry.
All in all a brill trip with great roads and scenary
Bike needs a few bits and pieces and I need earmuffs for wife protection
