Thanks Matt for taking the time to edit and post this nicely made video, it has made my lunchtime most enjoyable.It has brought back memories of a similar trip to Scotland last September, and made me wish I had taken a video camera with me to The Black Forest last month. The quality was superb on my Apple cinema display, did you use a Go Pro?

The quality was superb on my Apple cinema display, did you use a Go Pro?

Thanks I used a Sony AS100VR action cam. Not much in it quality wise between the latest GoPro and the Sony but I prefer the form factor of the Sony and it's got a few features (including vibration reduction and a wireless remote with live view screen) that I prefer. This is my first decent video using it and I'm very pleased with the quality. It looks really good in full 1080p - Vimeo down samples to 720p by default.

Couldn't possibly say although that sequence is x4 speed - not quite as dodgy as it looks...

Home - Moffat
Moffat - Aviemore
Aviemore - Carbost on Skye with a detour to Applecross
Carbost - Tobermory on Mull
Tobermory - Moffat (the scenic route)
Moffat - home

We've been back a month though (taken me that long to do the video!) so we wouldn't have seen you
