slave cylinder

To my knowledge no, Beemerboneyard sold the slaves cheaper direct from Magura, I understand a court case stopped this, thank you Mr BMW...

That repair kit is only for the hydraulics - seal etc.
The main problem is often the thrust bearing in the end of the piston failing - and when this starts to fail it causes the pushrod to rotate the piston in the housing causing wear on the piston, seal and housing.
For this reason I would only replace the whole assembly for a new one - expensive, but the only sensible option in IMHO:thumb

Only available entire. Sherlocks or Motorworks probably best bet.
+1 for Motorworks. I bought a new 'un off them last year for my GSA, and a 2nd hand off them earlier this year for a mates. Both came looking identical so I should have saved myself some pennies... I got a few extra gaskets just in case too (I dont know why... I've just always done that) and a bag of banjo bolt washers. Fiddly job swapping them out tho, have fun ;)

Peace, out.

The slave went on mine, and sent fluid along the pushrod where it was then thrown out across the flywheel causing the clutch to slip. It's a big job to break the back of one of these to get at the clutch, so I decided to go belt & braces, replace the clutch and the slave at the same time, and hopefully avoid having to rip it all apart again if I'd missed anything. It's worked so far......

Fair shout. Mines ticking towards 50k so considered doing the full clutch haul, but decided to buy myself a Corbin seat instead lol
