What a great weekend,just got back, never saw a drop of rain all weekend, 945 miles in 3 days around some great roads, thanks Chris and George for guiding us round the twisties.
Had a good ridehome until Edinburgh,filtered thru 3 miles of traffic jams at the bridge when I got a large lump of grit under my one contact lens,AGONY, had to do an emergency stop in the coned off area, whip the lens out and give it a good rub.Then proceeded to drop the lens, lucky for me Dutch has better eyes than me and we soon found it.
Couldn't get it back in though, rode home via Miss Ellies, with one eye wedged shut,watering like a goodun.Over 100 miles with one eye keeps the concentration levels up!
Sitting at the 'pewter with oakleys on and one eye shut.
Den and Grizzly were still hibernating when we left, nice to meet you and the girls.

Glad you 2 got back safely Dave. As well as being a lightweight in the bar last night, I wimped out this morning as well.

Left with the intention of going up to John O'Groats for my one photo of the weekend, but the clouds got lower over the west, and then it started drizzling and I thought to myself "It's supposed to be fun" and the A9 northbound in rain isn't much fun for a poxy photo, so I turned round, which was when I caught you and Dutchman up - had I realised you were leaving quite as early I would have just ridden from Rogart with you.

Grizzly, thanks for doing the organisation, sorry I left before you and Joyce surfaced, but I guessed you wouldn't be in for a long tour today.

Hello train spotters.
Marvleeous weekend.
NOT A DROP OF RAIN...... (large part referring to landsend and things edited out)
C,mon Dutch, get yer photies oot. show them wot they missed.

Ok, Im half pissed, but Im off tomorrow so wtf.

So, here it is in a nutshell.
Slept in an old train.... rode round the top bit... drank some beer ... slept in an old train... came home.

Grizzly, waved at you from the Little Thief at Tomatin as you came past.

I will start it off then.

This is a little unemployed Gateshead pixie wot frisky had taped to his handguard. she took all his photos. Great idea, and so cheap.

Ooops, forgot to thank Mike (CC) for working out a loverly route from Perth to Rogart. It was soo good we did it coming back!
