First May Bank Holiday Wander, Friday 02 May to Monday 05 May

Hi guys

I will be setting off from Sunny Warrington as bright and early as I can to get to the tunnel for my booking on the 16:50 crossing.

According to the BBC weather I'm expecting to arrive wet!

So after 280 odd miles in the wet, if I get there early enough I will try an blag an early crossing with Brenchleyhibs on the 15:50 to get to the hotel early to dry out.

What bike will you be on Andy so I can spot you and introduce myself if I do get there early enough to meet you?

I'm on a yellow 1200 GSA TC 2010

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy,

I'll be on a black "58" plate 1200GS with Vario luggage. I'll be parked up in the bike spaces just beyond the terminal building (as you ride around then past it) and I'll be aiming to arrive around 3pm -ish for a coffee in.

I'll send you a text when I arrive in case you are around. See you there, or on the train, or at the hotel.

Cheers,
Andy

Well I am on the 15:50 as well (as long as I can skip off work early !)
So see you on the train Andy and might see Andy on the train as well, makes sense ? Dunno myself. Either way we all meet up at St.Omer.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Good historic town to stay in. Took some great pics of the town and the lakes whilst we were on the ride outs. Nice hotel as well.
Great to meet the fellow riders bikers I have not seen before ( Andy/Dave) . Loving that new GSA, it def' has some poke in it. All in all some pretty good ride-outs.
Thanks Richard,

Richard,

IMMENSE thanks to you for all the effort you put into organising these wanders. A very enjoyable long weekend with some "spirited" riding. A good bunch of blokes and a nice friendly hotel (not so sure about the pigs' cheeks tho' :barf ).

I blagged my way onto an earlier train with DXTans so I was home indoors by 5.30 on Monday.

Hope to catch up with you all again sometime soon!

Andy
