Hi,

After testing my GSA rear wheel for play, I have a tiny amount of play noticable at both the top/bottom and side to side positions. The amount of play is the same and is there when the rear brake is applied. The wheel rotation is fine/smooth and there is no oil leak.

Could this just be a shim issue (too small) rather than the bearing failing? It has been exactly the same for the last 2k miles.

Mileage is 15k.

I am 2.5k from the service interval and I will probably take the bike to Steptoe even though I live nr Salisbury.

I have a couple of trips in Sept (France and Cornwall) and I would like to be sure.

cheers.......Steve

Yes,

The last place that serviced it (Kellaway in Bristol) before I bought it mentioned that they had adjusted the paralever as much as they could, any more and it would be rough (so they say). Does this make sense and is it a problem, or something you can sort out at the service?

Cheers..........Steve
