what gives?! my gs 03 gs 1150 only has 26+k kms and now the clutch is slipping......at 120kph it will slip momentary and then engage again....
and the clutch lever became very soft....it engages but its not like before....
could it be the clutch plates?...by the way the bike was submerged in water but not for long...just a couple of minutes....
how difficult is it to open the clutch housing

If you do a search on here you will find a lot of threads on clutches.
A common cause of low miles clutch slip is contamination from engine or gearbox oil.Can you see any oil where the gearbox joins the motor?.
You can see part of the clutch area if you remove the starter motor.
Check the clutch lever isn't fouling the hanguard and that the clutch fluid is the right level and not contaminated (black).
Sometimes a failing rubber bonding in the driveshaft can give the same symptoms as a slipping clutch.

How is the fluid level in the reservoir? As the clutch wears, the reservoir level rises and eventually the clutch never fully engages, leading to slip.
