my clutch started slipping under load a couple of weeks ago.

After a 200 mile round trip to Swindon it seems to have cured it?

Any reasons why?

The bike is booked into Cannons on Tuesday should I cancel it?

Anyone else experienced this?

I read your threads on the subject, but i didnt find any conclusion on how or if you fixed it?

If it is not doing it any longer then save yourself some money and cancel your slot with Cannons.

Check your clutch adjustment and see how it goes over the next couple of hundred miles.

They rarely 'just go' but deteriorate over time and they are not cheap to replace.

Why not get Steptoe to do it if it is shagged (unless under warranty of course), he will see you right.

Consider the recommendation for Steptoe seconded.:)

Update

Well as suspected it was the clutch seal thingy which had failed.

Cannon (Chelmsford) replaced the seal and the plates.

As the bike had only done 20k but outside warranty (4 years old), I am pleased to say that I have come to an agreement with BMW who have agreed to pay part of the cost.
