Mate of mine is having some trouble with servicing at SLM - anyone know anyone there or any tips for who to speak to in order to improve the service standard a bit??

The SLM boss has posted in here before. I seem to recall his name is Alaric. I would suggest he would be the ideal person.

I've always found them Brilliant ,i think they are short staffed at the Mo but yes talk to Alaric hes a decent chap

I'm sorry your friend is not getting the service he should. We have just taken on some new staff in the aftersales department so things should improve very quickly.
Your friend can email Alaric to air his concerns and hopefully give us the chance to come up with a solution.

Back in May SLM asked if they could re-book my service because they were short staffed. A bit inconvenient but under the circumstances I think they did all they could and certainly I got the impression they considered the customer important.

ps: I have no connection to SLM - just hoping for a discount on my next service

I've known SLM since it opened and IMO the current owners/team are the best that it has ever had. Very helpful, not pushy and keen to put things right if there are any issues.

That may be due to all the old staff moving to Chandlers BMW, good luck to Simon Chris and Mike.
