would we all not help a biker in distress and that far from home..

Second that, I stopped a BMW Fallert in Germany for rear brakes parts, and they took bits of a new bike in the showroom to get me going again. :thumb2

What a great bunch of people we have on this site, makes me proud to be on here.

Just compare the Inverness mob's response to these .......

Motorrad Central

and this one really is selfless assistance: :thumb2

Motorrad Central again.....

Al :)

One of the reasons I'm still riding a BMW is the service I get from the guys at Central, and I mainly only buy parts. Did get them to fit an oil seal to the diff as i didn't have the special tool and they only charged me for the price of the seal :thumb2

Well done Johnny, great stuff man :thumb2
I think we should give BMW dealership in Inverness a big miss en mass:mad:
JC's in Dundee would have looked after them.

I would, but the idea of a 450-500 mile round trip to the next dealers for servicing isn't appealing.......

Anyway, putting the 800 in for it's 6k service soon, so it'll be interesting to see what happens regarding service.

Yep...not so easy for you Klanky. You could mention that they are getting a bad rep on here and 'negotiate' some bling in return for putting that right:augie

What Oonyack failed to tell us, is that he stung the poor German for a hunnerd and fifty quid call out to leave the building site....... then another hunnerd an hour labour.....
:augie

Only joking... When my matey's RT broke down half a mile onto the island, a call to Oonyack and Big Rab was dispatched to the scene in his van...bike recovered, a replacement bike was provided and the RT was fixed and delivered to the B&B by 9am the following morning.

Lots of  was taken with us and the guys even took the next day off work to give us the guided tour of Skye. I dont know of anywhere else in the UK you would get that sort of assistance!

Top bloke!
