Are you sure ? I find that even the small screen whips the windflow up to the bottom of my helmet, creating some windnoise, although the buffeting and turbulence are gone. The best way to find out is to stand up on the footpegs while riding. With only a 'clean' airflow on the helmet everything quitens down.

I agree. I found that the screen as I had cut it throw up the wind to the bottom of my helmet, so I whipped off another 2 inches which made a marked improvement. I also think the that the type of helmet you use has a bearing on it, flip fronts appear to be a good bit noisier than regular helmets and open face ones. One thing for sure is, if you want a really quiet ride get an RT
