Well, it's about time I upgraded my 1990's BrickPhone to something more useful and able to take advantage of the contemporary facilities available such as access to one's emails and the occasional gander at a website.
It's unlikely I'll be surfing the net alot but would like to able to freely use my email account, look here from time to time when away from the desk, perhaps send a picture somewhere when necessary and most importantly, find information about something when away from the study.
So, how much data allowance should I go for with a new, as yet undecided, monthly package?
I have seen 250MB, 500MB and 1GB allowances, as well as unlimited but wondered if anyone here knows what volume of data gets passed around when these devices are used by a relatively thoughtful adult user rather than a teenage techo addict who looks at their handset every 45 seconds to check that the world is still there.
