Smugmug .... uploading from iPad?

I use Smugmug for photo hosting ... uploading from the desktop Mac is easy peasy, just find the picky, click on links, copy and paste in to the 'insert image' box above.

When I click on copy the 'copy' turns to 'copied'

But on the iPad it doesn't .... any ideas anyone please?

At the moment, on the iPad, I can only insert from the 'insert image' in the 'manage attachments' box below .... but a photograph taken with my camera and uploaded in to my camera roll is too big to attach

Thanks Cookie ... got the App, that doesn't even allow me to copy a link to embed. Gets poor reviews anyway

Well I would normally Cookie, but I leave on Sunday for four weeks on the road and I want to post photographs of crackin' sunsets, mountains, calorie free ales, award winning fish suppers and blisters on mi toes

M'up'n on Islay at the moment, limited and brief internet access

Glad it's not only me Simon, I think it'll be a Smugmug problem, unless it's in the settings somewhere

Ha ha .... been on Skye and the outer Hebrides, Harris and Lewis. Now holed up in The Ferry Boat Inn at Ullapool and using their WiFi, the first for some time

Mind you, it's costing me £4.50 a pint for the privilege

Not the problem I thought it was going to be Simon .... can't even upload to SmugMug

I'd like to get the uploading from SmugMug sorted though ...

Micky ,tried to load a photo from iPad to see how to do it for you.Needed to allow in settings ,find Smugmug icon and allow link to photos.Select pic from smugmug and go on ..... Option this gives you options to download photo to iPad roll then insert link on forum.

Sure there is a better way but this did work. Usually done from PC and very easy.

We need someone brighter to give us a simple solution

Hope this hammer and chisel approach works for you, did for me ,see test area on forum for me hours of fun trying to sort it for you fella
