edit: actually, the ratchet head IS guaranteed for life, the rest isn't.

Real time LCD display of the torque you are applying. Bleeps and vibrates when you get to the torque value you have set. You can set or convert between various metric and imperial torque values at the press of a button.

Well OTT for most but a pleasure to use.

IMHO Snap-On are normally head a shoulders above the rest. Will last longer and be more accurate than almost anything else. The retail prices are extortionate but if you can get Snap-On for 30% to 50% of retail (eg, e-bay) then it's a no brainer.
