That will bring it up on my browser & then I have to wait for it to load up in said browser before I can download to my desktop.:blast

No worries, I'll just wait until you've had the links changed on your posts. In the mean time, I'll start pulling out my teeth for kicks.:D

We've got nothing better to do.

Probably be quicker for you to scrap this thread and start a fresh one using the correct suffix links.

Edit: Also suggest you include links for people to download software/codecs rather than having to look for it.

Or try uploading to YouTube - what have you got against that anyway?
 
All your suggestions seem pointless to me. As far as I can see Snoopy doesnt do advanced planning. Or making things easy. Or doing it the way everyone else would :D

Keep up the good work Snoopy, a few more vids, codexs, player downloads and I will have exceeded my 5GB monthly limit in record time :mmmm
 
The ride report section is probably my favourite of the whole site. The thread are often entertaining, informative and inspire us to travel to new places.

After reading 5 pages of this report I have seen maybe 5 or 6 photos. Feck this craic of downloading codes and fcuking about with video files that may or may not work. :spitfire :spitfire

Life's too short for all that shit.

Fuckit. I think I'll go and have a read of the 1200 section. At least it's usually entertaining. :eek:
 
I'm more than likely going to have 5 days in July when I'll pop over the channel and have a ride down to Limoges and along the Loire.
I'll be doing a ride report but will only be taking slides. Can we start making a list of everyone that would like to view it and then once I have all your addresses and tel numbers I can organize a rota so I can send the written report to the first on the list and they can post it on. Now either you can go to your local Jessops and buy a projector and screen or I can lend you mine, for this however I will need dates and times you will be home to recieve the delivery and of course you will have to then make the arrangements with the next on the list.
 
This is all rather unfair, a young lad with the guts to go DO it and willing to share his experiences and all he gets is a bunch of old farts moaning coz their pc's dont work:confused:

I would agree Snoop's doing a bloody good job, to do a video blog is kinda hardwork in it's own right and you have to hand it to the bloke he's gotten stuck in and had a go.:thumb2

As for reasons behind his delivery mechanism well I'm sure we've all picked up a few hints here. To coin on someone elses phrase from another thread "pissing on his chip!" after the event does not seem right.:augie

...anyway I'm keen to see it all get ugly and find out where he's been for three weeks.:D

Snoopy is an individual who does his own thing.

Respect that and it aint shit.
He has just had an adventure with some not so nice experiences for himself, never mind incurring some high costs by the sounds of it.

He is trying his best as far as i can see to communicate that experience in the best way possible.

PS Trippy - I use an Agfa slide projector which only takes the 'slimline' Agfa slide mounts. Will you be able to supply in this format or will I need to re-mount the slides into standard (Kodak) mounts?
 
oh yeah them agfa thin mounts where right bastads...

Could you make a set of super slides just to be akward I have a hasselblad projector which has compatability problems in the mounts it uses:thumb2

or could you dump all the video down to betaMAX for me:D

I respect anyone who does has an adventure, especially if they have endured hardship and seen the journey through.

I was referring to the messing about with video as shit, not the journey.

Fecking about with codes in order to watch videos when photographs could have been used can hardly be described as the best way possible. Video here and there throughout the report may have been an idea. Photo's to compliment the videos or vice versa.

As I said above, I love reading reports. There are one of the highlights of this site, but there's precious little to read in this report, apart from transcripts of text messages.

It does with the VLC player & I guess if your up for downloading it, then cool. If not, then we all have to wait for Snoops to choose a common format that we can all view.
