I'd really like to see these movies .. I could see the earlier ones..

I installed VLC Player and Xvid ...still only getting sound and no vision..

PC has crashed twice. This stuff isn't intuitive to me and this is the first time I've had problems like this.

I've uninstalled both programmes or whatever they were...

I give in.

:(

This is a common a format as it gets - every Torrent movie uses this format!

Another resource you could try is:

http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/download/

But you probably have old codecs from an older DVD software buggering things up.

Why don't you just save it as a normal Quicktime .mov with either sorenson or H264 compression? Then the normal common or garden Quicktime player will do.
I guess you haven't upgraded to quicktime pro.

Should have just stuck them on Youtube and we'd have all been fine and dandy.

Thanks for your efforts Motorhead, but after sitting patiently for about 5 mins whilst the first video downloaded on to my computer, all I get is audio but no picture. Not realy happy about having to save it to be honest. I think I will give up now.

Would love to see your report Snoops, why not delete the lot and start again in the usual photos format that we all know and love. Put in an occasional youtube for the laughs. Bit like most ride reports.

mpeg4 has issues as it uses a rather clever bit of compression technology it's also wrappered in propriatorial codecs so a pain in the R's to be honest. I would avoid it as a delivery format. Would agree with motorhead QT. is a apple standard and it does work really well, you'll need quick time pro to author files.

Or Why not put all the files in Media or movie maker and make one massive file saves all that pony here's abit there's abit add some titles etc. and print it to the web as a smaller file say 320x240 instead of the rather nice big files which maybe causing he casual viewer a few issues.:thumb2

anyway I'm off got more grief than I need to deal with best of luck

and let me know when the movies start rolling out again so I can cheer myelf up, keep up the good work...:thumb2

This is obviously bread and butter to you, but as I said "It's rocket science for me"....

Chris is should be a piece of cake honest but there are dark forces at work here...

I did consider downloading the lot and stuffing it on Youtube but why should I tidy up and probably put the blokes nose out of Joint.

All the movies play but as I said there's dark forces at work in the shape of 0,1,0,1 etc.... technology is desgined to Fu** u up...

The original files were Quicktime mp4. :blast I only changed them because of the file size - Quicktime is quite crap in comparison.

Chapter 5 – forestry tracks

Error in last chapter – Meknes should be Azrou.

I stopped on the forestry track after an hour or two to cook some pasta. It was rather warm but that didn't detract from the stunning scenery.

It wasn't long before a shepherd saw me cooking the food and came over to say hello. My instinct didn't really take to this one though and I'm sure he wanted a lift back to his village or something. He couldn't speak any English so there was no communication of sorts between us.

I got rid of the shepherd and downed the rest of the pasta.

I just about ready to set off and packing the kit away when the kids started to arrive. Four of them. They were awesome though, really friendly and polite. Well, they did get their fingers the wrong way round!

One was trying to count to 10 but failing badly. I decided to have five minutes out and to take an English/Maths lesson! Each child left with a pack of super noodles.

On setting off I carried on for another hour and then turned of to go to a nearby dam. I'd not planned to go to it but it was only a little way out.

This route was another recommended by Timgolra and again his knowledge proved reliable, the scenery was awesome. I hadn't expected the route to take as long as it did and it was getting late by the time I was nearing the end of it.

Before I came out of the forest I spotted a small bridge over a stream. The stream looked passable by motorcycle. Actually it looked very similar to the one that Fanum bottled in a recent video posting. I saw the chance for a piss-take and to claim the title of king of fords.

The crossing did not go as planned and I couldn't get enough speed to get up the embankment. I kept skidding back down and falling over. Luckily the camera ran out of storage space after the first attempt. It was pitch black now and all I could hear was the wildlife around me and the trickling water from the stream. I was determined to get the bike up without removing any gear.

Having got the bike out of the mess I started I deliberated to press on to Midelt or to stop and sleep right there by the bridge. It seemed a pretty secluded spot so I decided to stay...

I have been looking forward to this report but it's just turned into a load of bollox for me :(

With respect snoops. I only want the words with some pictures I can look at :nenau

Hours of vid are boring if they are not edited IMHO, even if I could see the feckers :thedummy
