PW thanks for a great run. Every time that I ride in the Brecons, I enjoy it and today ended with a new road for me which was superb

I had to drop the anchors sharpish at one point when I met a BMW car head on on that last slippy road though !

Twas a good day out.

Counted 31 bikes at the location above and 3 joined later on.

Not bad for a cold and wet December morning.

Phoned Slimbo at about 4.00pm and he's bruised but fine after his
tussle with the Talybont road.

thanks for a good ride out paul.

i was enjoying it up until i lost control, but hey ho its just one of those things.

im well and looking forward to lamb cutlets on toast tomorrow, i keep finding places on me with bruises and the worst damage is a severely sprained thumb?? (not very hardcore is it) how can i recount my tale of daring do and have any credibility if i tell i sprained me thumb?

still it was great to see so many gsers in one place in winter, lets do our best to keep up the numbers for the monthly meets..

Posted on ride reports had a great day out thanks to PW just finished washing large part of Wales off bike.

Ditto to all the comments made so far. Thanks to PW and not forgetting Vern at the back for a well organised ride. Apologies to Vern for the confusion from our splinter group at the back (Fredkat, Mike, Mike's mate from Bristol, sorry I didn't get it, Trevor, Bimble & me) which 'eventually' headed in another direction before Llandovery. Good weather (well it didn't rain) great scenery and some old and new faces. Look forward to meeting some of you guys again at an event in 2008.

Ride safe (especially Slimbo) and have a peaceful 2008.

If anyone noticed a black Mercedes behind a BMW & a Peugeot at the "temporary" traffic lights at the bottom of the sugar loaf giving you all the international sign of the GSer then that would have been me .

Yes we did notice ewe and all decided ewe where just suggesting the reason ewe brought the car, and were just jealous that we were enjoying ourselves

At least ewe can take it to Brizzol on the back of the AA van The exhaust seemed to be undamaged as the sound it made as ewe gave it a wee handful on your way back home a nice little rasp if I may say so Hope to see ewe at the next get together on the 17th Jan. I expect ewe will be in the car
