First snow of the season this morning. There has been some on the hills but this is the first lying round the house

Be good to have a proper snowy winter rather than wind and rain. 5 years ago we had snow round the house from November to March, the skiing was grand, the hills magnificent. Bring it on! Obviously, that is, with the roads not blocked and heating oil prices stay low

Hmmm...plastered in the facking stuff for several hours this morning, but luckily the guns were colder than we were and packed up at lunchtime......home to the hearth....4 hour powercut last night as well, had to go to the Strathardle Inn for my tea....

Tell ya what, you have the snow for five months where you are but keep it the hell away from Dundee. That winter almost cost me my business.

I reckon ice cream van. But an opportunity to put snow tyres on it and sell snow shovels rather than 99's for a few months
