Snowrun Thursday 29th December

I'm sure there will be a suitable ditch or bank for you sir:hide and where's my back support:rolleyes:

Knecky Fecker Vern, as least there was evidence that he had a slight off :blast and was man enough to admit it, after he stopped crying that is :D
Plus PW may avoid that certain reservoir, knowing Paul he will stop for a photo shoot at said ditch :D

hey vern i will have you know that my abs is now functioning and i shall just take it easier..

also i led last years epic run!! the reduction in riders was fatigue and chittys running out. there was no loss due to attrition .. mind you there was some tho thought they would have preferred an off!!..

Not sure if Vern remembers my off a couple of years ago.
Having arrived at a small T junction at the brow of a hill in the middle of the Welsh hills, after looking right to see if anything was coming, carried on turning left.......straight onto a large sheet of iced run off, straight into a ditch.
I'm sure there might have been a wry smile as I and a couple of cyclists tried to raise the GS into the vertical.
I think that was the year a few of us bottled out going down a hill covered in a hard frost.
Unfortunately this year I'll be working but will be thinking of you all. Have fun and stay upright.

OOOOoooooo, yes, I remember, you were marked down for lack of finish on that one. You could have rolled about a bit:D

No ice this year by the looks of it:thumb2

Could be up for this, slimbo what time you passing my way so i could ride up with you ?
Jas, your best bet is to get to Abergavenny bus station for the start and peel of later closer to your kneck of the woods. As we don't normally get to yours till early afternoon if at all, allowing for mechanicals and off piste visits---see Vern and Slimbo plus others. :D
Plus the route to Abergavenny via Brecon and sennybridge is a cracker
Merry bollocks BTW

Mrs had been informed she is needed in work so i'm babysitting , have a good one guys and catch up with you on the next meal time :beerjug:

Working on 29th so had a bimble today - 70 mile lap via Talgarth, Clyro & Hereford.

Have fun.

Weather now looks like being a bit wet but not too cold.

I've attached the route if anybodies interested.

155 miles with Hay Bluff thrown in for good measure.

P.S. Please try and fill-up before you get to the Bus Station so we can get going on time.

It'll be the drop off system

http://www.gwent-advanced-motorists.org/bikes/drop_off.htm

so no need to feel any pressure to keep-up.

Have a read of the link if your not familiar with the drop-off system.

P.S I havn't got a dayglo jacket but I'm told Vern is never seen without one :]
