Please, I need you all to help get me through this winter climbing/walking season with your snowy photographs.
I rarely fail to get a few snow days in each season, but a week ago I underwent robotic assisted surgery at Western General, Edinburgh to remove a 6cm tumour and 50% of the kidney it was attached to. All in all I’m feeling good and already built my level street walking up to 1.75 miles today, but both my wife and my surgeon will kill me if I even take a second glance at a snowy top this winter season
To make things worse, there are rumours that we might get early and/or prolonged snow, due to polar vortex activity.
I’ve attached a few of my own images to get things going, a selection from my local Galloway Hills (I can see Cairnsmore of Fleet from the living room) and some a bit further north.
