Can someone tell me how difficult it is to do a 24000ml service on a 1150GS please. Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of before I start or is this a job for a dealer.

The discs are ok if you've got a pc in the garagePink Crash Helmet said:Thanks for the advice, I've downloaded some servicing info from the links on this site but is it worth buying a Haynes manual or buying one of the discs from fleabay?

If you go ahead and change the fuel filter, re-locate the thing on the outside of the tank so thast next time you can change it in 3 mins flat rather than having to have the tank off and all the gubbins out, as wel as having to do it all again three days later when you realise the float arm didn't go in right and your fuel gauge is lying like a cheap Moroccan rug
(lots of info on previous threads on this ; )
Plus PM Steptoe for a pleasant surprise on the cost of a service kit.......and make sure you get his 24 hour 'technical support' hotline number![]()
