It'd be a VERY cool place to get a piccy of a GS on the way up :)

The pier in Dunquin - opposite the Blasket islands - Dingle peninsula.

In the mid 70's I got a Honda 500/4 a bit of the way down - I came to a step & chickened out. It was not possible to turn - took 3 of us a long time to reverse it back up. I was young & foolish then; still foolish but at a higher level. :rob

Last time I was there on a GS we decided to make camp for the night on a small patch of common land on Slea Head. A good idea until the wind got up in the middle of the night and almost blew our tents onto the beach below. A stunning place when the sun is out though.

Stimilar..

Killiney Beach this AM, dog's head just visible....

The best bit there was nobody there!!
