Yes chap, It was dropped off at 11,30am and i went off to Ross on Wye camping at 1pm
Looking at bikes currently, so called at Chester and tried out both a Soft Tail Slim and the new GS today.
Wasn't at all sure about the Harley for a couple of miles and then it clicked. I really enjoyed the couple of hours spent with it and on all types of roads. Most comfy up to about 60 mph and then it gets a bit windy but otherwise loved it.
Took the new GS back after 15 minutes as, and it is only subjective, I preferred the older model to be honest. Much better power delivery but just seems a bit down on character.
Going to try a Fat Bob next but, since I like to take a pillion rarely, looks like a Fat Boy unless the Slim can easily be adapted for two up riding but I suspect that leg room at the back will be a nightmare.

They V&H sortshots ? Ive got a set of bigshots on order Trying to find out if the "33909-08 Harley-Davidson Forward Control Kit for FL Softail Models" will fit the Slim but not having much luck with the Harley bods over here in the UK so ive email the US

Good idea on the forward control kit.
They come with floorboards as standard like the Fatboy. The forward control kit lets you change the set up to pegs situated further forward and enables the long of leg to stretch out a bit. It also allows more lean when cornering which is a good thing as the tyres have loads of grip and the rear is quite skinny (compared to the Fatboy).
No idea on the denim black as mine is vivid black and so is dibdob's I think.

Im 6'2" and i fit just fine but i'm scraping through the floor boards
