Hello all,
I bought a set of Pivot Pegz III from this forum and installed them with ease, but now I need to adjust the gear shift lever as I can barely get my foot under for upshifting.
Would one of you kind folk please point me in the general direction of an 'How to' to make my life easier?

Cheers,
Bob :thumb

A few pictures showing the process of adjusting the gear lever should be info enough.
Cheers,
B

just undo the locknuts on the rod that connects the shift lever rotate the rod clockwise or counter to where you want the lever, then tighten up the locknuts again..try that bob OR buy the fully adjustable HP levers as i did, beautifully made bit of kit

Thanks for taking the time to help SkidMan!
Got to agree with you, those HP levers look the tits!

Where does one buy such bling?

Cheers,

calsport matey.. knocked me a few quid off @ £169 for the pair

the amount of adjustment is limited by the longish threaded portions on that turnbuckle.

some trim them to get a higher shift pedal

Gear Change

Hi Skid I've looked on the Calsport UK site can't seem to see the adjustable gear change lever can you tell me a bit more please, also where did you get the foot rest rubber inserts
Many thanks

If it's the GSA then you have an adjustment on the actual rubber covered peg, it rotates on its axis, if that makes sense.

I've adjusted the peg on the gear change lever plus I've added a Wundelich cover to the gear change but I still seem to be changing gear almost with my toes, I have to take my foot of the foot rest to change gear and I've not got really small feet, 8.5

Skid06;

Following your lead I checked calsport's website but the pictures are few and lack detail... I noticed that the gear shift lever is sold together with a new rear brake lever. I would greatly appreciate if you could email some pictures of both and if you can, please also scan the owner's manual and installation guide.

Thanks a lot !
