He's either very tall or that's not as tall as the present adventure.

Steve

BMW need to come up with some better looking ally boxes than the current ones that oxidise within 10 seconds of getting damp, the old 1150 ones were far classier.

Had my BWM 1200gsa alloy boxes on two different bikes over 4 yrs still looked like new.

No Tesco in Deutschland, so I guess he's off to Kaufland or Rewe.

The boxes I got on my 2013 GSA are clear anodized... not likely to oxidize...

One can only expect that that is a standard going forward...??

Al..

Perhaps the later ones were better finished than the early ones?? but to me the styling just didn't fit with the rest of the bike, even less so with the LC, maybe BMW will come up with something new by the time the ADV version is launched.

Agreed

They're not very aerodynamic to go with such a refined engine

hard to tell anything from those pictures, but i doubt that those are the panniers they are planning on selling with the bike. more like cobbled up panniers for the test mule :nenau

i'm confident that the new GSA will look miles better than the GS - they always do :)

I agree with him ;)

And for the record, the 1150 ADV metal boxes were not ally :rob

Screen looks smaller than current GSA

Agreed that can't be the final product not "different" enough.. :nenau Certainly looks like bigger tank and heavier front end.

But if that is the bike, it does confirm that with some good welding you should be able to change current ADV boxes to fit the new ADV when it arrives.

Its massively outsold every other bike over 750cc for nearly 9 years,so would have thought it obvious that there are likely to be more of them for sale than any other model:nenau
