Some things I learnt today

Not an optical illusion. Any attempts to lean the bike over, on the shit strewn white roads I was on yesterday would cause both tyres to wash out, so I rode like a girl until I got to the normal roads.:comfort:D

It's certainly not as fun as the GSA this time of year!

Just checked mine after my commute home...

It's shitty out there

I have no idea what you mean by the 'end bit', nor can I really imagine (though I've tried) what you are up to with the stick.

Lots of baffles, which are often not much over 6" long, have a bend or curve in them. Sometimes they also have holes punched in them too.

If you are holding something like that in your hands, you have got it out. Here's a handy film:

If your baffle tube has been in for some time, the chances are it will be made tighter by exhaust residue.

If you are holding something else in your hands, report back (but very carefully)

So you haven't done it and have no fuckin idea what you are talking about. Twat.

Nice with usd forks probably give an xr1000 a run for its money. I've had three Fazer 1000s and never had a problem just not as comfy as a GS.

That's not very nice. Wapping is a very nice man.:rob

It was a simple question, didn't call for the pompous answer.

You take of the carbon end cap and then remove the bolt, pull out what I thought was the baffle, but it's only about 2" long. Then looking down into the tube you can see what I assume is the baffle, "tube with lots of holes in" but I have no idea how to get that out as it sits flush. Is the "db killer" just the short stubby bit?

Can anyone please advise. That what the forum used to be about!!

The thing you have in your hand, albeit short stubby and looks like it's a bit useless is either your cock, or the dB killer. If it's the latter then the job is done and no further action is required.

Merry Christmas :beerjug:

Correct answer Toddmeister and delivered in a polite festive manner :D

He's from the north, where it's pissing with rain, so he's very grumpy. To cap it all, he's probably snapped two sticks and the carefully gathered spares have been carried away in the flood.

Still, he now knows what a baffle is, what it does, that he's got it out and will be able to hoon noisily when the waters subside.... Or he's got something else 2" long in his hand.

Have a great Christmas everyone and the very best hooning of the truly awesome steed in the new year. :beerjug:

PS Nutty's a cock and has no idea what he is talking about. :D
