Somebody experience with this stove?

It not a bad cooker but IMHO the MSR Dragonfly is better, it folds up smaller is equally if not more controllable, and costs about the same.

Lets be honest, like it or not the IPOD is the best mp3 player, if your going to spend a fortune on a watch then Swiss is best, the same can be said for camping kit, MSR make the best there is, so unless it is at a very cheap price then go with MSR.

@Bowser

Is there a difference in quality between Primus and MSR?

I was talking about the Primus omnifuel because you can also cooke with gas,
and the pump is from metal inplace of a plastic one on the MSR.

to be fair I have not use it with gas, only with unleaded and Colman fuel, I haven't really considered the pump issue. they both work, I just personally found the MSR a better cooker.
For me Gas isn't an issue as I never use it anyway, there is nothing wrong with the primus its a good cooker and at the right price a good buy. But you asked opinion, and thats mine

If you are looking for an MSR make sure you use Ebay USA, they are considerably cheaper over there, I got mine before Christmas and to be honest i wish I had bought ten of them at the price.

The MSR pumps are crap:blast Buy the Omni fuel they are a much better bet.

I found the seals in the msr pump don't last and took it back in the end.

The Omni Fuel is very quick and powerfull but you can control the heat down
to nothing. A great all rounder if you need the multi fuels option.

Some truth in that, but MSR sell an annual maintenance kit for about £12 which comes with replacements. I am told by those who use them more than me that this is £12 worth spending even if you have only used it a couple of times in the year.

I have the Primus. Works great!:thumb2 used it on bike trips, car trips and whilst away doing other stuff:mcgun I can vouch that it will work in desert temperatures such as say for example Afghan as well as minus 10-15 in places like Austria and Bavaria. Used Coleman and normal unleaded fuel. No Problems.

Do it.
