Sony Ericsson K810i memory size

I just got a free upgrade and it comes with the usual small memory card so would like to take it up to the maximum in order to use it's camera/music playe/radio instead of a seperate camera and iPod.
The biggest capacity card I can see for sale is 8g which would be nice, BUT? I'm reading conflicting reports about how big a card it will take, also if it will slow down with bigger cards.

Anybody used one? got any input please?

i had an 810i

4GB card def. works - no doubt.

i may even have had an 8GB card that worked in it - but i couldn't be sure...
