Sony Vaio Recovery wizard

I'm in need of reseting my Sony Vaio. Howewer, the recovery wizard (whatever that mean) is not working because can't find the corresponding partition.
Any ideas what that means? Any experience reloading W-XP on a Sony Vaio? DO you have a recovery disk I can borrow?

yosi - reboot it with the XP disc in the cd drive - it should ask you at some point if you want to repair it.

Thanks. What I need is to format and reload everithing. Is becaming terribly sluggish and slow. Too much rubish on board I suspect
