Ive just bought a 1100GS thought it was running uneven so went about balancing the injector bodies and adjusted the wrong screws...doh!:blast
Since then I have bought a Haynes manual which says: 'the two limiter screws on the inner face of the throttle pullies' should not be adjusted... doh doh doh! I have put them back to where I think they were. Can anyone tell me what they will do, what problems this will cause? Am I now going to have to go to a BMW dealer and pay ££££££s to get this sorted? I'm pretty clued up when it comes to working on bikes, but this is my first BM and first injection bike, the screws looked like balancing screws. Can someone give me any advice please. Thanks Yours hopefully Tobermory :thumb2

Sorry forgot my manners! Didn't even say 'hi' to you all in my blind panick of trying to sort my bike. Cheers to all of you and hope you all having a happy weekend and not too wet (unless in a pub!) Tobermory:beerjug:

Yes thanks Duchess I would appreciate you moving my post to somewhere that I would get a bigger response from and hopefully the right help. Tobermory

Blimey - for a minute there I thought I'd bought myself a new bike :D

It sounds like you have been tweaking the throttle stop screws, in which case you might want to head for the search section and look for threads about "flow bench".

Hello fellow wombler! Named as such for exactly the same reason I'm sure! Hope I don't have to rename myself. Also been called skippy and bin digger by friends!

Thanks for the advice I will try the 'search'. But very new to this and computers in general so wish me luck!

I sense a theme with those names ;), although I've never quite aspired to the last two myself.

Don't worry about the name, there're a couple of other Wombles in here already and it hasn't been a problem.

Best of luck with the throttle bodies :thumb
