sound like a good price??

hi all, my first post so please be gentle!!!!

i have had my eye on a Gs for a while and have come across these 2....

2005 red gs1200 with 11K miles and it comes with ,heated grips/hand guards,abs, vario panniers and a bm tank sack.

the price is £7200 but the warranty is only 3 months (which seems to be the norm over here) how does the price sound compared to the UK?


or there is this one a 2006 with 3.5K miles for £7300 6 months warrenty but no idea if it has heated grips etc tho

The 2005 one sounds like quite a good price, maybe about £300 more than in the UK, but then you get panniers too so it sort of evens out. Is that from a BMW dealer? I'm suprised you can't get an approved used warranty for 12 months if that's the case.

Worth finding out about the extras on the 06 one too though

yep all from bmw dealers which is why i am surprised about the warranty side also..... i think its the minimum u have to give by swiss law.


the 06 one has the normal abs,heted grips,cam protectors and topcase holder which i think the last 2 are standard anyway....? and a tank bag

but it has the 6 month warranty so ill go have a look today and see.

MMMM cant find the edit button so edit / add to my last post...


anyhow......... the 06 model is ok it doesnt have a top case holder so its just the norm ABS and grips - it goes ok so i might put an offer in....... they want 7.3K tho
