I know for a fact that the guys at SLM read this particular forum, so let's await their response

I understand that they get their MOT's carried out by a place in Redhill (Fins?), was it them that messed them around?

Do a search for independent servicing, I think Brian Giles (BGM) may be more convenient for you.

I think it might have been. The way I saw it, it was nothing to do with me- their relationship with the MOT station they use. They just passed the problem on to me. Never mind. I won't use them again. No service. No parts. No trade in. No buisness. No problems.

I'm an ex SLM customer too.

Brian Giles is a top bloke (BGM Pembury 01892-823514) , ex BMW service manager, great service for reasonable bucks.

I've recently used them for the first time and found Simon and kate helpful in dealing with a problem with my heated waist coat enen though I didn't buy it from them, I'd do business with them again.

i wont take my money there either. staff will happily stand around chatting while you wait at parts desk. everyone seems snotty too, as if im not good enough to be in there, (i often have to remind myself that im way more sussesful than 15k a year shop assistants!) ive been told by others that is because my bike is a 2000 reg and not new enough.....

i have took about 800 quids worth of business to brian in the last year instead. hes great, cares about what he's doing and is way cheaper anyway.

south london M/C's are the worst dealership ive ever come across.

sadly one good employee wont make the place useable
