Hello,i have put the seat to the low or high position, and there a space of 1-1.5 cm between the seat and the tank ..
This does not happen when the seat is at the low position to the front and high to the rear, but the manufacturer book says it must be done. The seat must be either to high or low position in both, front and rear ..

Am i the only one having this "problem" or is it common ? Because it is weird, why is there a space between the seat and the tank ??

Will try to post a pic this afternoon

Mine's exactly the same.

I have my seat set to high at the front and low at the rear. I know the manual says not to do this, but I'm a rebel :D

I've had the seat like this for months with no problems.

When I tried my seat with high front and low rear there was a large gap between the seat and tank but when they are both on high or low then there is no noticeacle gap. I am used to much more bent knee than the GS so I now ride round with the seat set to low even though I'm 6ft 1in. Can't see any reason why we shouldn't use high front low rear etc. dispite what the manual says. High front low rear does help prevent movement towards the tank (well I think it does) especially when wearing slippy water proof over suit (which is quite often at the moment).
